
546 MW Combined-Cycle Power Plant
• The 546 MW Chadormalu Combined-Cycle Power Plant, located in Ardakan County, Yazd Province, has been constructed to support stable electricity supply for industrial and mining complexes.
• The plant consists of two gas units, each with a capacity of 183 MW, and one steam unit of 180 MW, designed to provide reliable power to Chadormalu’s industrial and mining facilities.
• The first gas unit was connected to the national grid in June 2024, and the second unit in October 2024. Upon completion of the steam unit, the total capacity of the plant will reach 546 MW.
• The 546 MW Chadormalu Combined-Cycle Power Plant stands as a symbol of energy independence for the country’s major industries and represents a significant step toward energy security, optimized consumption, and sustainable development in Iran.
